Tye called in for Cummins

WEST Australian paceman Andrew Tye has been called up to Australia’s Twenty20 squad to face India, replacing Pat Cummins.

Tye, 30, will get a chance to add to his five T20 internationals in the three-match series, which starts in Ranchi on Sunday week.

Cummins will return from India after the two remaining one-dayers so his workload is managed before he plays three Sheffield Shield games for NSW in the lead-up to the first Ashes Test in Brisbane on November 23-27.
