Mensink is off the grid
FUGITIVE ex-Queensland Nickel boss Clive Mensink has intentionally gone “incommunicado” and it is fair to say that he has no intention of coming back to Australia soon, a court has heard.
Mr Mensink’s lawyers claim they have not heard from him in months.
Tom Sullivan, QC, a barrister for QN’s taxpayer-funded liquidators PPB Advisory, said Mr Mensink – the sole listed director of QN when it collapsed with $300 million in debts an 800 job losses – had “absconded overseas” and was “incommunicado”.
