THE late Rebecca Wilson was an unforgettable personality.
Larger than life, the former St Hilda’s schoolgirl went on to carve out a formidable career in journalism across all forms of the media.
To ensure her legacy is ongoing a Rebecca Wilson Alumni Award has been established by St Hilda’s with the first winner to be announced at a special lunch on October 20 at RACV Royal Pines Resort.
Guest speakers will include Peta Credlin, Michael Miller, Paul Whittaker and Peter Gleeson with her brother Jim Wilson as the MC. The award will give a St Hilda’s school student the opportunity to complete a media internship at the Courier Mail, The Sunday Mail or The Australian. Very fitting.
