Help keep kids safe

PARENTS of school-leavers are encouraged to volunteer with Crime Stoppers at the annual Schoolies celebration, to keep an eye on their children from a distance.

The School Safety program provides an opportunity to keep an eye on family while not intruding on their fun.

Crime Stoppers volunteer, and school-leaver parent Jason Lake, said he enjoyed volunteering for the first time in 2015.

“I really enjoyed interacting with the kids and making sure they were safe,” he said.
