To tragedy
weeks ago for my brother’s 40th. We took a whole heap of friends. So many Gold Coasters go to Vegas and that’s why something like this resonates so deeply.
“People go there to have a great time and to get caught up in something like this is just horrific.”
“This has come from left field,” Cross adds. “It’s not something you would expect in Vegas. It’s an adult Disneyland so to have this happen is quite tragic.”
He then turned his thoughts to the future and in doing so sounded very much like a man with two hometowns.
“It is hard to comprehend,” Cross said. “But at the end of the day Las Vegas will move forward and we’ll pull ourselves out of this and do our best not to let anyone knock us down.”
