READY TO MAKE ‘FOOL’ OF HIMSELF

-

AFTER playing Thor a whopping five times, Chris Hemsworth says he feels his next career move needs to be so bold he risks “looking like a fool.”

The 34-year-old’s latest turn as the Norse God is in Thor: Ragnarok – which is released in cinemas this month – but he’s ready to shake things up from the character he’s played for a decade.

“The idea that it should be wildly intimidating, I think, is when something unique can happen,” Hemsworth told GQ Australia in their November issue. “I’ve got to risk looking like a fool.”

Hemsworth said his costar Mark Ruffalo told him not to play it safe or “stick to your one thing.”

“Mark was like, ‘It’s got to feel scary, man,” he added. “I want to see you do something where you’re not in control.”
