ROBBIE TURNS OVER NEW LEAF
IT SEEMS anything Margot Robbie touches turns to gold.
The Gold Coast actor stepped out at the Nissan Futures 3.0 event in Oslo, Norway, yesterday to help unveil the 100 per cent electric Nissan Leaf, for which she also filmed a TV commercial.
It is part of what is tipped to be a lucrative ambassador deal with the Japanese car manufacturer.
Celebrity PR agent Max Markson said Robbie’s deal with Nissan would likely be “at least $500,000 a year for a minimum of two years, plus a car”.
A Gold Coast industry insider echoed the figure, saying “basically anything that Margot would endorse she would be getting major money as management make sure of that”.
The Nissan ad is part of the manufacturer’s new sustainability pilot project, which aims to raise awareness that 1.3 billion people still live without an easily accessible electricity supply.
“Projects like (this) have the potential to make a genuine difference to people’s lives,” Robbie said.
