CANADA’S STRENGTH

ONE of Australia’s biggest threats in the pool, Canada has nominated a squad of 26 swimmers for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games led by 17-year-old Olympic Champion Penny Oleksiak (pictured).

Oleksiak took home four medals from the Olympic Games in Rio last year including gold in the 100 metres freestyle. The youthful Canadian team will include 16 women and 10 men.
