Govers in for Kookaburras

FORWARD Blake Govers will play for the Kookaburras for the first time since the Rio Olympics at next week’s Oceania Cup in Sydney.

Eddie Ockenden, who was a late withdrawal for the World League semi-final in South Africa in June, has also been named in Australia’s 18man squad for the event.

Australia will take on New Zealand and Papua New Guinea in the biennial series, which starts next Wednesday at Sydney Olympic Park. Australia are No.2 in world rankings.
