Roar sweat on Holman

FORMER Socceroo Brett Holman is “touch and go” to play in Brisbane’s season-opening A-League clash against Melbourne City at AAMI Park tomorrow night.

The attacking midfielder is to be named in an extended Roar squad today but a lingering calf problem has him in doubt.

Last week Holman said he was a “day-by-day” proposition.

Roar coach John Aloisi wants Holman to play but will err on the side of caution.
