Bridge now two lanes
GETTING to and from Cedar Creek just became easier with the reopening of Chardon Bridge after $3.2 million in upgrades.
The bridge replacement began in April, upgrading the former timber bridge to a twolane concrete bridge over the Albert River with a two meter wide pedestrian path.
The bridge gives residents access between Cedar Creek and Wolfdene.
The bridge was upgraded as a part of a joint initiative between the Gold Coast and Logan councils and the federal government.
