Chief quits media firm
ISENTIA chairman Dough Flynn is due to retire after three years in the role at the media monitoring company.
Mr Flynn, who was appointed as chairman and director of the board before the group joined the Australian Securities Exchange in June 2014, has announced he will not stand for re-election at its annual meeting next month.
In a statement to the ASX, Isentia said he had led the company “through a significant period of growth across Asia”.
“Mr Flynn has steered Isentia through challenging conditions and during a period when the company has successfully introduced a number of new innovative products,” it said.
A successor would be appointed “in due course”, the statement said.
Shares in Isentia climbed 3.5 per cent yesterday, closing at $1.925.
