Bower nails national shot

SUNNY Bower has continued her rise to stardom after the Gold Coast junior snared second at the National Clubs Carnival in Bendigo.

Competing in the Level 8 division, the Elite Rhythmic Gymnastics Club starlet took gold in her club’s routine and silver in the hoops, enough to land second overall against the nation’s best talents.

The latest accolade for Bower, 15, adds to a stellar year. In June she was tutored in Beijing by Russian Olympic gold medallist Margarita Mamun.
