Injuries bring triple change

INJURIES have forced the Hockeyroos to make three changes for next week’s Oceania Cup in Sydney.

Out of the line-up goes Laura Barden (quad), Edwina Bone (knee) and Jordyn Holzeberger (hamstring).

Filling the gap in Australia’s 18member squad will be Kristina Bates, Gabrielle Nance and Brooke Peris.

Coach Paul Gaudion said it was a good chance for Peris to play her first game with the side for the year and for Bates and Nance to “push their claims” in the series.
