Train delays after death

COMMUTERS experienced more than an hour’s delay after a person was hit by a train at Robina yesterday.

Gold Coast line trains were suspended in both directions between Nerang and Varsity Lakes and replaced by buses after the incident which happened about 1.20pm.

It is understood the person died at the scene.
