A GEM THAT SHOULD NOT BE SO HIDDEN
THE Gold Coast is not exactly short of natural beauty. Boxed in by majestic hinterland rainforests on one side and miles of golden beaches on the other, we are blessed to live in a stunning locale.
But it is still a shame that one of our greatest natural wonders remains off-limits to visitors.
Killarney Glen was closed in December following a tragic drowning. In the meantime a management plan, which would allow visitors to safely access the attraction, was supposed to be worked upon.
It is a matter of great regret for nature lovers that there has been little sign of progress to date.
