To the anonymous person (Chatroom, 11/10) writing about the Vietnam Vets and his uncle in WWII being away four years and didn't ask for a penny. I'm sure your uncle came back to a ticker tape welcome and treated as true heroes and rightly so! My husband and all the Vietnam Vets were treated disgustingly, eggs thrown at them, violent demonstrations, RSL treated them shamefully. I'll never forget. No wonder you didn't sign your name! Knocking them is knocking all Diggers. – Kathy Merchant
