CRICKET Australia is comfortable with Steve Smith’s workload as captain of all three formats, despite the fact he has missed Australia’s past eight T20 internationals.

David Warner yesterday steered Australia to a resounding win over India in Smith’s absence, with leftarm paceman Jason Behrendorff taking four wickets in 12 balls.

Smith, 28, has returned home to rest a sore shoulder before the allimportant home summer, which includes the Ashes Test series.
