SIMPSON FINDS HER SOULMATE

- KRIS CRANE

GROWING up in the public eye, Alli Simpson struggled to find a boyfriend – until she met fellow Queensland singer Conrad Sewell.

Back in Australia for a new project with Sony Music, The ShareSpace, which helps develop young artists, Simpson opened up about her relationship and writing her own music.

“Conrad is amazing, we are definitely still going strong,” she said.

“It is 100 per cent easier dating someone in the industry. I found it hard to find a good guy who understood my work. Conrad gets it.”

Gold Coaster Simpson revealed the pair rekindled their romance at Coachella earlier this year after sparks first flew when they met at the ARIA Awards.

The Simpson family moved to LA seven years ago when Alli’s older brother Cody’s career took off.

While she spends most of her time in the US, Alli said she still calls Australia home. She has two new singles, Material Boy and I Won’t Remember You Tomorrow, which will be released today.
