The young woman re­vealed she was forced to watch other girls be­ing raped, be­fore be­com­ing preg­nant and try­ing to throw her­self down the stairs to force a mis­car­riage.

‘Whim’ led bikie to a fa­tal shoot­ing

A NSW bikie who killed a cus­tom car builder “on a whim” in a dis­pute over a rare mo­tor­cy­cle has been jailed. John Richard We­ston, 37, shot dead Lau­rie Star­ling, 29, as he left his NSW Cen­tral Coast busi­ness The Chop Shop on July 24, 2014. A NSW Supreme Court jury ear­lier this year found We­ston guilty of the mur­der, and on Wednesday he was sen­tenced to 34 years with a non-pa­role pe­riod of 25 years and six months.

Tod­dler in hos­pi­tal after bike crash

A tod­dler was taken to hos­pi­tal after a car and bike crash in Up­per Coomera. Paramedics were called to Catalina Way after re­ports of a car and bike col­li­sion. The child is be­lieved to have sus­tained leg and fa­cial in­juries and was taken to Gold Coast Univer­sity Hos­pi­tal in a stable con­di­tion.
