TUNA AROUND WHILE JIGGING DOES THE JOB

TOMORROW looks like the only option for getting offshore and trying for the Longtail tuna that are around at the moment.

Out wide on the 50 fathom reefs there are still some big Amberjacks and Kingfish biting hard on both live bait and jigging.

In the lead up to the last week’s full moon we saw some big jewfish – many over a metre – caught in the seaway on live bait. And plenty of sandcrabs around too. Also try flicking lures at structure in the Nerang River for mangrove jacks.
