Their lack of presence certainly does not mean their plight is any less real. To help with the ongoing problem Sugar and Spice Events staged a Down the Yellow Brick Road ball at the Surfers Paradise Hilton with all the proceeds going to help RizeUp. The theme was borrowed from the Wizard of Oz and the oft quoted phrase – “There’s no place like home.”
