Rockstar’s baby plans
AUSTRALIAN pop superstar Michael Hutchence and Paula Yates were planning a Tahitian wedding and “actively having fertility treatment in the UK” for a second child prior to his death, the executor of the music icon’s will claims.
Colin Diamond says that the couple wanted a sibling for Tiger Lily and had also discussed their nuptials before the INXS frontman was found dead in a Sydney hotel room in 1997.
Mr Diamond makes the claims in Seven’s documentary, Michael Hutchence – The Last Rockstar, which airs tonight. “He was actively having fertility treatment in the UK with Paula,” Mr Diamond said.
“They were looking at having another child together. Michael and I had discussions about them getting married in Tahiti ... in the following July.”
