Tiki Village sale tipped
A SALE might be on the horizon for riverfront Surfers Paradise timeshare resort Tiki Village, which has been on the market since June, according to a one-time contender.
He says a buyer is believed to have been doing due diligence on the property, with a $32 million price suggested.
The eight-level resort, built in the early ’80s by the late Dan Roberts and a debut project for architect Desmond Brooks’ fledgling DBI group, sits on a 4598 sqm site and is a favourite with schoolies.
