Missing mum’s body identified

-

A BODY found on Victoria’s Surf Coast has been confirmed as being that of missing mother Elisa Curry.

Pathology tests on the remains identified Mrs Curry, 43, who vanished from her Aireys Inlet holiday home about 10.30pm on September 30.

A woman walking her dog discovered the remains at Point Roadknight beach, on the coastline near Anglesea, about 11.30am on Wednesday.

The surf spot was about 10km northeast of where Mrs Curry vanished 11 days earlier.

Mrs Curry was last seen at her family’s holiday home after having watched the AFL Grand Final with a friend, and hosting a neighbouring couple.

An economist before becoming a full-time mother, Mrs Curry had been battling personal problems. But friends said she had seemed “in good spirits” the night before she disappeared.
