Australia Post, prices going up service going down. Letter sent from Ashmore on the 3rd arrived in Nerang on the 16th. Now I know what I'm paying extra for!

Wow! I’m going to save a whole $2 a week on my power bill. Thanks so much, Mr Turnbull. – Terry

All you people complaining about electricity costs I wonder how many cut down on their use of it. There are a lot of ways like turning lights off when not in us. Same with TV. – Butch

Re: Parking in Southport. My son lives there and I was fined $97 for parking in his own driveway. Had just bought him home from hospital and I had to get him upstairs along with his crutches and then a wheelchair. Amazing how quickly they issued a ticket.

I wish police would sit east bound from Bermuda St from around 3pm and catch all the people driving in the bus lanes, they would clean up.

Where are the police fining people for driving in the emergency lane and jumping the queue? Think of the revenue that could be made. – Pete

Does that mean the other presenters on get paid $2m too? No, I didn’t think so. – Marco Polo

So Lisa Wilkinson quit the Today show for not getting equal pay as her male counterpart. Put your seatbelt on Today for the backlash. – John

The GC600 hopes to get 200,000 fans this year. I remember as a volunteer that with the Indy cars we cracked 300,000. Shame we still don’t have them. – John Mc Hayne go, he’s not worth worrying about. – Jillian

The Titans should hold their heads in shame for not resigning Tyrone Roberts. Now he’s off to Super League when a decent offer here would’ve kept our best player on the Coast.

Re: Tom Tate postage stamp you proved your ignorance with that comment about Peter Garrett. Maybe you should read his book.

Hey Tommy Tate, how about we send you half a postage stamp and you can write down all your achievements! – Woodleigh

The next time you mow the footpath in front of your house don’t be surprised if some nutter from this council hands you a fine for interfering with council property. – Barney

Parenting lessons! Why is it always the schools that have to teach children about common sense and especially things that should be taught/learned at home? – Mary

Tragic news with boating accidents. When will this country going to draft a law that no one can be in a boat not wearing a life jacket? – Roy

Ten of thousands of Kiwis will be watching the All Blacks at Suncorp on Saturday night and all of them live in Australia. Very sad when you have to leave your homeland for a better life elsewhere.

Uproar in US about Harvey Weinstein, yet the President is Donald Trump. Don’t get it.
