Bonneval call

FANCIED Kiwi mare Bonneval’s chance of running in the Caulfield Cup could be determined as late as race morning.

Racing Victoria head vet Grace Forbes inspected Bonneval yesterday and deemed she still had “a one in five degree of lameness”.

Trainer Murray Baker is adamant Bonneval, who has drifted to $8.50, isn’t lame and he told stewards he wouldn’t run her unless she was sound.
