Deus sedated

STRICKEN Japanese star Admire Deus last night remained under sedation at a Ballarat vet clinic as experts decided whether to operate.

The former Cups favourite suffered a suspensory ligament injury to his nearside foreleg in trackwork at Warrnambool.

Darren Weir’s assistant trainer Jarrod McLean said Admire Deus was as “comfortable as possible”.

“He’s in the best of care.”
