Bakery to stay open

GC600 fans with a craving for a pastry will have access to the Main Beach Bakery 24 hours a day over the three-day event.

The shop is preparing for such a rush they won’t close until Monday morning.

Owner Nathan Swadling said the GC600 was the biggest event of the year.

“We’ll probably sell over 5000 sausage rolls (on the weekend) and even more pies,” he said.
