Motorists warned off

-

MOTORISTS are being asked to avoid the Gold Coast Hwy between Surfers Paradise and Southport for the next three days.

The area has been gridlocked for the past five days, but is expected to be at a standstill during the GC600.

Those who don’t need to travel through the area are being urged not to, while those who have to are being warned to stay out of the temporary bus lane, or face hefty fines.

From today only locals with passes will be able to access the track precinct between 7am and 7pm.
