● Customers in possession of event entry tickets or holding official accreditat­ion passes to the GC600 can travel free to and from the event on G:link trams, Surfside buses and Queensland Rail City Network trains from today until Sunday. Kids 12 and under can travel for free on certain public transport services when with an adult in possession of a valid entry ticket.

LIGHT RAIL

● Turn up and go! Tram services will increase during the event and will take you straight to the gates.

● If you are travelling from the south, the closest station to the venue is Surfers Paradise North and from the north it is Main Beach station.

● If you are travelling to the concert from the event, the closest station is Broadwater Parklands. The best option to move between the race precinct and the concert is via the Sundale Bridge. APPROX WALK DISTANCE TO STOPS: Surfers Paradise North tram station, 600m.

SHUTTLE BUS

TransLink shuttle bus services will operate at regular intervals on all three event days from Helensvale Train Station to the Gold Coast University G:link station.

CARS AND PARKING

If you choose to drive to the event, be aware that major events can cause traffic delays and plan accordingl­y. Parking in the surroundin­g areas is limited to two hours and this will be strictly enforced. Parking in Paradise Waters and Budds Beach is limited to local residents and businesses.

PARK AND RIDE

Parking is available at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Broadbeach for $10 per day. Jump straight on to the light rail via the Broadbeach North Station right to the GC600 gate. You can park your car at the park ’n’ ride facility at the Helensvale train station, catch a bus to the Gold Coast University Hospital G:link station and jump on a tram that will transfer you straight to the gates. volunteers will also roam the precinct. The Informatio­n Booth is also the first point of contact for all lost property.

WILL THE POLICE BE THERE?

The Queensland Police Service will be establishe­d within the event precinct, conducting roaming patrols.

FOR SMOKERS

Smoking is only permitted in Nominated Outdoor Smoking Places (NOSPs). Failure to comply is an offence and penalties apply. Supercars will ensure a sufficient number of NOSPs are made available and are sized in accordance to match anticipate­d crowd density. All NOSPs will be clearly labelled and readily recognisab­le.
