Hole in plan to rob ATM

WOULD-BE thieves have tried to steal money from an ATM at Labrador Park Shopping Centre by cutting a hole in the shopping centre roof.

The incident is understood to have happened around 2.40am yesterday as they attempted to break into an ANZ ATM.

The offenders fled the scene before they could be apprehended.
