APOLLO HAS THE MAGIC TOUCH IN HOME VISIT

- KRISTY SYMONDS

QUEENSLANDER Apollo Jackson is one of the final three men still vying for Sophie Monk’s heart following a magical home visit on last night’s episode of The Bachelorette.

The 24-year-old magician took Monk to their shared hometown of the Gold Coast to meet his family, including his sassy 94-year-old grandma, Ellie, and his horse whisperer Sue Spence.

Jackson said he wasn’t nervous in the lead-up to the introduction.

“I was more excited,” he said. “I have got the most amazing family and I’m so lucky to have them. I wanted Sophie to see what they were like and where I came from.

“Family is the most important thing in the world to me and it’s a pretty big thing to introduce a potential partner to them. If you think too much about what the other guys are doing , it takes away from the moment and being in that moment with her.”

Monk’s visit went so well the pair professed they were falling for each other.

“She got along so well with my family and she fit in and was comfortable,” he said. “My family could see all the amazing things I saw in Sophie.”

Bad boy Blake Colman was sent home last night leaving Jackson, Jarrod Woodgate and Stu Laundy still standing.
