DAVID AND CHRIS SPIT AND POLISH

IN A recent interview with Stellar Magazine, actor David Wenham was lamenting the lack of great comedy writing that was used to such effect when he played Johnny “Spit” Spiteri in the 2003 hit Getting Square.

“People don’t write that sort of stuff and it’s a pity. Comedy is undervalued,” said David in the article. As we know that screenplay was written by none other than our own renaissance man lawyer/painter/writer, Chris Nyst. Recently David and Chris were seen catching up, reminiscing about the good times they shared.

We can only hope a Son of Spit manuscript is in the offing.
