Deal has Lynn hitting million

BIG Bash superstar Chris Lynn has become the competition’s first million-dollar man after signing a five-year deal with the Brisbane Heat.

Five-year deals are a rarity in cricket and the sum of Lynn’s contract is known to exceed $1 million, initially the salary cap for an entire squad seven years ago.

Lynn, 27, recently had surgery to fix a shoulder problem.
