Dr Blake to return

DOCTOR Blake will be back.

After its shock dumping by the ABC, new episodes of The Doctor Blake Mysteries are to be commissioned by Channel 7.

But it will take the form of telemovies rather than a traditional eight or 10-part series.

TV insiders confirmed that the acclaimed Aussie crime drama starring Craig McLachlan as Dr Lucien Blake will be part of Seven’s programming line-up in 2018.

Seven is expected to make an announcement at its 2018 program presentation today.
