ARCHIE DELIVERS BUBBLY LESSON

-

WORLD Champagne Day was last Friday and to celebrate, Mamasan Kitchen and Bar hosted a bubbly soiree.

One of the special guests was noted bon vivant Archie Cox from Moet Hennessy who gave an inspired masterclass on the joys of Veuve Clicquot. He also revealed one of his pet hates – the Australian penchant for mispronouncing moet and chandon champagne. To save Archie from continually wincing, please can we all try to remember the ‘t’ is pronounced.

It’s not too difficult. Moe is a city famed for pig’s heads in the front yard while moet is a splendid celebratory drink.
