THE POLL: The Queensland election will be held on November 25, 2017.

The number of electorates in Queensland will increase from 89 to 93 following a redistribution of electoral boundaries in May 2017.

ENROLLING: It is compulsory to enrol and vote in the State election if you are an Australian citizen or eligible British subject, are aged 18 years or over and have lived at your address for at least one month.

People on the electoral roll who do not vote may receive an infringement notice.
