Redzel’s next mountain

REDZEL has already cemented his place as one of the world’s best sprinters with his win in the $10 million The Everest, so claiming the Darley Classic would be the icing on the cake.

Redzel will likely face some of his Everest rivals in the $1 million Group 1 Darley Classic at Flemington on November 11, a race that co-trainer Peter Snowden won with Mental in 2012.

“I’ve been lucky enough to win this race before. I know how big a race it is and I know how good a horse you need to have,” Snowden said.

“I think the form that he’s in will be better than any horse that races him.

“He’s mentally and physically tough.”
