Rewarded on legwork

TRAINER Dwayne Schmidt’s patience with horses who have leg problems was again rewarded with Time To Rock at Ipswich yesterday.

His daughter Cassie Schmidt rode a very clever front-running race to win on the favourite Time To Rock ($3) in the Maiden Handicap (2150m).

Schmidt trained with success in Brisbane for several years but he returned to train at Grafton and has had plenty of success with a range of problem horses.
