Silver Ferns lure Langman

COUNTRY has trumped club, with New Zealand star Laura Langman leaving reigning Suncorp Super Netball champions Sunshine Coast.

Langman was contracted for 2018 after being an integral part of the Lightning’s grand final glory this year.

But after much soul- searching, she has opted to walk away from netball for 2018 and return home to be eligible for Silver Ferns selection again.

Langman played 141 Tests from 2005-2016 and is eyeing the 2019 World Cup in England.
