Outing irks Socceroo
SOCCEROOS stalwart Mark Milligan has laid bare his frustrations at missing Australia’s match against Honduras.
The veteran and sometimes national skipper isn’t travelling to Central America for the first leg of Australia’s World Cup qualifying showdown.
That’s a result of Milligan picking up a yellow card in both legs of the Asian playoff with Syria. He has amassed five yellow cards in 17 matches in this qualifying campaign.
“Where I play and especially in that role in the last game to break up their play on the counter attack, it’s a little bit of a risk,” Milligan said.
