Crameri caught in bind
ESSENDON have all but ruled out offering Stewart Crameri a lifeline as a delisted free agent.
The AFL’s delisted free agency period opens today, with the former Bulldog one of a number of axed players looking for a new home.
Cut by the Bulldogs last week, Crameri has been linked to a potential move back to the Bombers but the recruitment of Jake Stringer and Devon Smith during the trade period has all but closed that door.
Stranded on 99 career games, Crameri, 29, is desperate to continue his AFL career.
