Fraud claim for ex-cop
A FORMER Australian Federal Police officer will front an ACT court charged with defrauding the Commonwealth of almost $50,000.
The 40-year-old is charged with 64 counts of dishonesty. He is accused of using his AFP credit card to the loss of $47,270 to the Commonwealth, the AFP said yesterday.
The officer was issued with a court summons in September, but was not required for a hearing in the ACT Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
The case was adjourned until November 30.
