Missiles a $207m hit

-

SOUPED-UP, soft-kill missiles will be fitted to Australian warships as concerns grow about North Korea’s hostility.

The Prime Minister will today announce a $207 million upgrade for 13 navy ships that could be in range of a North Korean attack.

The warships will be upgraded with the latest Nulka, a rocket-propelled missile decoy that lures incoming missiles away from targets. It hovers in midair, confusing incoming projectiles. The announcement is likely to be viewed as provocative by the triggerhappy hermit nation.
