GOING FOR GOLD SYMPOSIUM Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort

THE excitement for all of us is palpable as the date for the Commonwealth Games draws ever nearer. It’s an old phrase – champagne and laughter but what comes after – but the Bulletin, News Corp and Sky News aim to guard against any post-Games let down by hosting the Going For Gold Legacy Symposium at Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort this week. About 400 people packed the ballroom to hear a broad range of speakers outline a vast array of ideas and plans for the future of our city. Bring it on.
