AUCTION ‘GOLD’ GOES TO NISSAN

A STAGGERING $350,000 was raised for the Gold Coast Community Fund at the GC2018 Gala thanks to the generosity of 800 attendees. The ‘gold medal performance’ went to the auction of the Nissan Pajero. Sunland’s Soheil Abedian won the bidding for $42,000 and then donated it back. Next, developer Ron Bakir bid a similar amount and, wait for it, donated it back. Finally it sold for $40,000 meaning it raised well over $120,000. Amazing.
