Accor finishes 12th in global employee poll

-

AN annual survey of more than 6600 organisations globally has revealed AccorHotels, the world’s leading hotel operator, as the 12th best place to work if you want to increase your chances of being a happy employee.

Conducted from late 2016 to mid-2017 by independent research, consulting, and training firm, Great Place to Work, the survey named Accor among this year’s World’s Best 25 Workplaces worldwide.

Accor was one of only two other hospitality companies to make the competitive list.

Gold Coast-based Accor Vacation Club (an entity of AccorHotels) CEO Craig Wood (pictured) said he was delighted that the organisation had been recognised, and was proud of the close association AVC enjoys with the broader AccorHotels group.

“Lots of people consider the hospitality and hotel industry to offer only transient-style jobs, but in our experience, the industry represents exciting, colourful, and diverse career opportunities. For those with drive and enthusiasm, the possibilities for a satisfying career are endless,” he said.
