Three lots go for $6m

A CHINESE buyer based in Victoria has spent nearly $6 million to snaffle three blue-chip residential lots overlooking the Broadwater at Runaway Bay.

Wei Wei has paid $5.8 million for the adjoining lots in Oatland Esplanade, which is home to the Bayview Harbour Yacht Squadron and apartment buildings such as The Vaucluse.

The Malaysian owners of the land, who have a Sovereign Islands home, bought it seven years ago for $4.75 million.
