Lee winner at Mermaid

SIMON Lee, caravan-park investor, “parked” more spare cash at Mermaid Beach, enlarging a site on the highway.

He was spotted bidding at the auction of a Surf Pde property which has an original beach pad on it and walked away a $1.1 million winner.

That buy’s apparently put Simon, who’s behind the new Coomera City shopping centre at Upper Coomera, in control of a 2200sqm-plus site that includes the Camelot Motel.
